OCT – Odour Control Technician

This one day hands-on Odour Control Technician course covers odour sources, detection processes, theory of odour control, equipment, chemical options and applications. The student will learn how to address odours caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals.

WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician

This three day, hands-on Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, it’s effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

WRT/ASD Combo

This five day combination certification will certify students for both WRT and ASD designations once they pass the required exams. In five days,  students will perform extensive extraction, evaporation and dehumidification techniques, equipment set up, track drying progress, utilize drying charts, and evaluate psychrometric conditions. Throughout the five day course the attendees will ultimately progress through school with a real life experience of actually doing the work necessary to complete a drying project.
